I had a swarm idea several years ago, but that ended up being way too complicated to implement, so I'm not going to do that this year. Got idea of stars, something with stars.. Now stars can collide with monsters, monsters can collide with buildings. Woke up, glanced at screenies by other people, started visual studio again. I suppose I should make the monsters look a bit more 'monstery'.. 9:53 Added glowing eyes and entry transition effect to the monsters, tweaked difficulty a bit by making the city grow wider on later levels (slowed down monsters as well). Took the dog out. 10:42 added some smaller dots as a backdrop, tuned things a bit and removed warnings; also redid the help screen. Time to make RC2 and then install fmod.. 11:36 Sound effects, pass one. RC3 time. 12:33 Added midi music (composed with MusiNum 2.08 fractal music composer) as well as options to disable sfx and music. RC4, probably final. Also tweaked the difficulty a bit again - the cursor grows faster, but the monsters are a bit faster by default as well. 17:44 Took dog out, ate, chatted on the channel, cleaned up the source code somewhat (fixing some small things) and added couple hundred lines of comments.
